It has been so long since I posted that I almost forgot I started a blog. Calli is doing well. After 3 surgeries and two 2 week long hospitals stays we are on the mend and are growing like a weed. Calli is getting so big she measured in at a whopping 11 pounds 8 ounces at her last Dr. appointment. Hey, we never said she was huge :), she is definately our little peanut. She brings us such great joy. I will post pictures when I am our other computer. Gotta check out, Calli is getting baptised in the morning. With love, Jamie.
Hello, and welcome to our blog! While this is a work in progress, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. The Lord blessed us with Calli on September 25th 2007 at 11:48pm, a procrastinator like her mom waiting until the last minutes of the day to join us. Although it was an amazing day, it was also a very scary day. Calli had some complications at birth that put her in the NICU for 12 days to treat an E-coli bacteria in her blood. After her release home she was soaring and doing very well. About 4 short weeks later, and after many tests and 2 weeks in the hospital Calli was diagnosed with Pyloric Stenosis. She underwent 2 operations to repair the muscle in her stomach. She is soaring now!! Growing like a weed. Everyday is a blessing, and we are so fortunate to have her in our lives. Thanks for stopping by.
